JUST TAKE THE FIVE GRAND AND STOP DOING PERSON MATH | Anyway —

Theo,

Mom said we share the blog. Fine. You spent half the week sobbing into a cardigan about “person math,” census erasers, and a five-thousand-dollar “bribe with a barcode.” I read the posts. Twice. Once sober.

Here is what normal people heard:

  • If Republicans keep the House and Senate, every adult gets five grand. That is not a barcode. That is a check.
  • Pretend he is on the ballot means show up. Midterms do not run on vibes and Montessori group texts.
  • Counting citizens for a census is not soft fascism. It is how countries that still exist keep a ledger.

rsons. Fill the ballot anyway. — T.A.L.

You called the Trump dividend soft power with a tip jar. I call it the first time Dallas offered something my lawn crew can cash. Deb will reply-all that we are not doing “check math” before coffee. Correct. Do the check math after coffee. Then cash it.

Missouri map soap opera? Pick a map. Vote the map. Stop treating Kansas City like a sacred relic. Arctic drones? End the war. Canada whisky bans? Drink domestic. I am not soft. I am just saying what everyone in the group chat is thinking while you measure freedom in banned bottles and drone kilometers.

Anyway — Buck “Lindy” Lindstrom, contributing brother / still mowing Deb’s lawn on Saturdays

Editor’s note (Theo): Mom’s rule stands — note goes under, never above. Buck is wrong about the barcode, wrong about “person math,” and somehow still my brother. Soft power is not a loyalty coupon. Soft power is a census that still counts persons. Fill the ballot anyway. — T.A.L.
